OSLO, Norway, May 02, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telenor (Nasdaq:TELN) (Other OTC:TELNF) invites to a press conference regarding the publication of the financial results for the 1st quarter 2003. CEO Jon Fredrik Baksaas will present the results. The press conference, which will be held in Norwegian, takes place in the auditorium at Telenor Expo, Visitors' Centre, at Fornebu outside Oslo on Wednesday 7 May at 0900 hrs Norwegian time.The press conference will be streamed over the Internet at http://www.telenor.com/ir and will also be available over the portal of the Norwegian news agency NTB at http://portal.ntb.no.
Capital Markets Day
On the same day and on the same premises, Telenor will, for the first time, hold a Capital Markets Day from 1200 to 1700 Norwegian time (1100 to 1600 hrs UK time). Lunch will be served from 1100 hrs. The programme intends to provide a thorough insight into Telenor's strategies, future development and business areas and all presentations will be in English. Journalists are allowed.
In connection with the Capital Markets Day, a small exhibition will be open in the Visitors' Centre from 0930 hrs. Norwegian time.
