iBX Technologies Provides IT Services to New Business Sector

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla., Feb. 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- iBX Group, Inc. (OTCBB:IBXG) said today that its core IBX Technologies division, which implements technology for healthcare organizations to manage information and data communication services, has secured a contract to provide IT consulting services for JBT Group, an international distributor of woman's hosiery and legwear to department and specialty stores under private labels and the brand names Round the Clock(r), Givenchy(r), Ellen Tracy(r) and Evan-Picone(r).

IBX Technologies will design, install and maintain JBT Group's data communication system to link its three locations - a distribution center in Grenada, Miss., a showroom in New York City and an administration center in Boca Raton, Fla. iBX Technologies will also install and maintain the company's Web servers and email network, as well as provide consulting services on its voice and data systems.

"We're finding that the technology we've developed for multi-office healthcare information systems is easily transferable to other business sectors, including manufacturing and distribution," said David Blechman, CIO for iBX Group. "With such broad applications, the potential for this area of our business is almost unlimited. We're looking into several other opportunities to provide similar large-scale consulting services, and we hope to be able to announce those contracts in the coming months."

"iBX Technologies will provide JBT Group with local access to a deep pool of IT talent on an 'as needed' basis. The alternatives of hiring an internal IT staff or of farming out projects to traditional consulting firms were not very attractive to us," said Barry Tartarkin, President of JBT Group. "iBX has consistently delivered cost-effective solutions to other industries which will clearly enhance our overall business model."
