MALMO, Sweden, Feb. 24, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange:TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced that it has signed a four-year contract worth EUR500,000 with a leading European provider of rail signaling technology. The contract includes licensing fees and maintenance to a value of EUR472,400 and professional services totaling EUR28,600.

Telelogic DOORS(R) and Telelogic SYNERGY(TM) are already deployed across both the R&D and the project functions within the company. Today's agreement will extend the usage of these products, but also add Telelogic TAU(R) to the customer's development environment, replacing competitive tools used today.

Telelogic was selected after 12 months of careful evaluation, based on Telelogic's ability to provide a flexible and common environment for all requirements and standards, and a common repeatable process for managing and reusing software across the enterprise.

"By taking advantage of Telelogic's entire application development lifecycle solution, customers will improve quality, while significantly reducing time-to-market and overall costs," said Anders Lidbeck, president and CEO of Telelogic. "The decision to extend the current agreement to include all of the product families in Telelogic's portfolio demonstrates confidence in Telelogic's approach and the value we offer our customers."
