SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 7, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Ms. Kyla Faye, City Lips Lip Plumper International Spokesmodel and Miss Utah USA(r) 2004, is currently in Los Angeles to compete for the title of Miss USA(r) 2004. For the first time ever, the 53rd annual Miss USA pageant will be broadcast live from the legendary Kodak Theatre. Each contestant from all 50 states and the District of Columbia will be judged in three categories, including swimsuit, evening gown and a personality interview by a star-studded panel of judges.
Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell and Billy Bush will co-host the competition. Susie Castillo, Miss USA 2003, will crown her successor at the conclusion of the two-hour primetime telecast.
The nationally televised competition will follow a special episode of Fear Factor featuring six beautiful, yet top secret, Miss USA delegates. The Miss USA Fear Factor combo, which dominated in the 2003 ratings, will air for a second consecutive year before an estimated worldwide viewing audience of more than 200 million. The MISS USA Pageant is a Donald J. Trump and NBC partnership.
