Azur Appoints In-House General Counsel

Albert Lazo, Esq. Joins as Counsel and Corporate Secretary


MIAMI, April 20, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Azur International, Inc. (OTC:AZUR.PK), a luxury residential and resort development company, announced today the appointment of Albert Lazo, Esq., as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

Mr. Lazo brings experience in the practices of Real Estate, Corporate Governance, International Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Labor and Employment and Securities. He holds membership to the Florida, Dade County, American and Cuban American Bar Associations. He has served as an associate with the firm Richards and Polansky, P.A., and as an associate at the law firm of John G. Shieley. Mr. Lazo holds a business degree from the University of Florida and graduated from the Law School at Nova Southeastern University Law School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Albert has joined the Azur team, in the position of General Counsel. He will offer advice on general business concerns, long-range planning, and Sarbanes-Oxley issues. His expertise and guidance will be utilized in reviewing corporate documents and policies, managing our corporate legal department, and supervising the use of outside counsel.
