SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 17, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Tribeworks(r) (OTCBB:TRBW) and Pioneer Corporation have signed a contract for the development of software products that allow users to create and manage multimedia content for next generation digital signs.
Pioneer Corporation, a consumer electronics company based in Japan, has been a Tribeworks customer since 2000, and is a leading manufacturer of plasma displays.
The most recent contract builds on earlier efforts, and includes development of software for new hardware designs being created by Pioneer. Detailed terms of the agreement are subject to confidentiality agreements between the two companies.
