Safe Idea, Inc. Signs a License Agreement with Cease-Fire Technologies

HESPERIA, Calif., Dec. 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Safe Idea, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SFDA) today announced it has signed a license agreement with Australia-based Cease-Fire Technologies Pty Ltd., granting Safe Idea, Inc. rights to market Cease-Fire's proprietary and trademarked WetWool product and applications in the United States.

WetWool is a proprietary fire retardant fabrication -- a non-woven wool fabric with a high water retention capacity. When dry, it is relatively light and easy to handle, and due to its absorbent qualities, is heavy when wet. The amount of water absorbed makes the fabric stay wet for a considerable amount of time even when exposed to high radiant heat. The product shields against radiant heat and withstands a considerable amount of direct flame impingement.

"We are very excited to work with Cease Fire. The WetWool product can be used for a wide variety of commercial and domestic applications to protect physical property, including buildings, homes, equipment and vehicles against fires. There are various industry specific applications that we hope to be able to launch in the near future," says David Campbell, president of Safe Idea, Inc.

Cease-Fire Technologies Pty Ltd. is an Australian company specializing in development, marketing and manufacture of passive fire control coatings and materials.
