Dan Kemp Named Director of Admissions at Phoenix Outdoor

ATLANTA, Jan. 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Phoenix Outdoor LLC announced today that Dan Kemp, former Director of Admissions for Northwest Academy-CEDU of Bonners Ferry, Idaho is joining the company as Director of Admissions and Marketing.

Kemp will have primary responsibility for educating the marketplace about the Phoenix Outdoor program and attracting students who meet the guidelines for a successful wilderness experience. Working with the Executive Director and clinical department, Kemp will consult with parents and educational consultants to determine if a student is an appropriate candidate for Phoenix, screening out students who have major mental health disorders, serious histories of running away, violence, or who demonstrate a willingness to hurt themselves.

"Dan brings a wealth of experience and first hand knowledge to the team," said Carolyn Bradfield, CEO and founder of Phoenix Outdoor. "He will complement Phoenix's highly experienced staff of mental health professionals, educators, family therapists and wilderness professionals through his knowledge of the marketplace, understanding of consultant needs and requirements and ability to place students in a program that is appropriate for their needs."

Kemp has over 10 years experience in the adolescent therapy marketplace, serving in similar positions with the Island View Residential Treatment Center, The Oakley School, and Wasatch Academy.
