The new unique touch screen management system integrates scheduling software from Dimetis GmBH with the Nimbra Vision network management system. Network operators can now simply offer schedule imports through a touch screen to schedule not only programming but also guarantee that the network will support that specific service at the time requested, if the network has availability at that time. This provides a significant advantage in both ease of use and cost to broadcasters and media companies using advanced video networks using Net Insight's Nimbra(TM) platform.
Nimbra Vision provides a superior overview of the operation of a Nimbra network. With Nimbra Vision, a broadcaster has full control over the activities inside the network. Its Element Manager enables the precise operation of a node, and the Network Manager gives a consolidated overview of network status. Nimbra Vision continuously monitors the network for faults and performance degradation.
