SAMPO LIFE'S SUBSIDIARY OBTAINED LICENSE TO OPERATE IN SWEDEN
Sampo plc's wholly owned subsidiary, Sampo Life Insurance Company Limited, has gained permission to expand its operations to Sweden. Finansinspektion, the supervisory authority for the banking and insurance industry in Sweden, has granted a license for the establishment of a new subsidiary, If Livförsäkring Ab, wholly owned by Sampo Life, to operate in the life insurance business in Sweden.
