Elekta Signs a Private Placement Agreement With U.S Institutional Investors


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 30, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Elekta has strengthened and diversified its long-term financing structure by entering into a private placement agreement to issue senior notes to U.S. institutional investors. The transaction amount is USD 125 million with a tenor of 10 years. Banc of America Securities has been the placement agent in the transaction.
