Wilshire Associates Releases Enhanced Reporting Capabilities for Equity Portfolios

Equity Attribution and Risk Management Solution Delivers Custom Reporting Tools to Investment Managers

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wilshire Associates Incorporated, a leading global investment analytics, investment consulting and investment management firm, today announced the release of The Atlas Developer's Workbench module, the latest in an ongoing series of enhancements of its flagship equity analytics solution, The Wilshire Atlas.

"The Atlas Developer's Workbench allows for simplified customization and integration of risk exposures, attribution results, and fundamental characteristics into third-party spreadsheets and other applications," commented Robert J. Raab, Jr., vice chairman and senior managing director of Wilshire Associates. "Investment managers can now view vital risk characteristics side by side with timely attribution analysis on a single, customizable report. Additionally, managers can include powerful graphs and charts for their websites or client presentations."

The Wilshire Atlas is part of The Wilshire Quantum Series, a suite of tools designed to deliver superior risk management, portfolio analysis, asset allocation, performance attribution, and performance measurement reporting to fund managers, banks, insurers, consultants, and other institutional investment organizations around the world.

According to Managing Director Mark D. Osterkamp, who heads Wilshire Analytics' North American sales and marketing group, The Atlas Developer's Workbench delivers unparalleled report customization. Clients can develop a custom interface to satisfy firm-specific reporting requirements.

"Managers today want a single solution for portfolio construction, risk analysis and attribution results," Osterkamp said. "They also want to convey that analysis to other members of the investment team, senior management, and clients in a manner that is detailed, organized, and well-presented. We're giving our clients this ability with The Atlas Developer's Workbench which is easily used to design and create powerful reports to assist with portfolio construction, portfolio monitoring, and client servicing."

The Atlas Developer's Workbench integrates Wilshire's superior equity analytics into custom reports using ATL COM, .NET, WIN32 DLL, and C/C++ programming languages. These developer tools assist in transforming vast amounts of relevant data on over 55,000 securities across the globe into organized, easy to understand reports. Once created, these reports can be automated to improve the reporting process. Clients can include graphical representations of the data either for quick analysis or to be published on their websites.
