Peter van Rossum (1956) is a Dutch national and studied business economics at the Free University of Amsterdam, where he also obtained a post graduate degree as Chartered Accountant ('Register Accountant'). After his studies he joined Shell, where he has spent the last 24 years in various finance positions in many different countries. Amongst others, he was finance manager at the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) from 2000 to 2003. NAM is the Shell/ExxonMobil joint venture in the Netherlands. Besides his current position as Regional Finance Director, Peter van Rossum is a member of the Non-Executive Board of Woodside Petroleum and Woodside Energy Ltd. He is also a member of their audit committee. Woodside is a top ten publicly listed Australian energy company, 34% owned by Shell.
