Jobing.com Announces Premiere Of 'JobingTV' With Host, Misha Di Bono

San Diego's Hometown Job Board Launches Locally Focused Employment Newsmagazine

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Jobing.com, San Diego's hometown job board, announced today it will begin producing its top-rated employment television show, JobingTV, in San Diego. The weekly newsmagazine, hosted by Misha Di Bono, former anchor of the KUSI Morning News, will premiere on Sunday, February 12th at 6 p.m. on Channel 4 San Diego.

"JobingTV will make the process of looking for a job a lot easier for San Diego job seekers by taking them inside local companies and really getting into what makes a company great," said Di Bono. She continued, "As the host of JobingTV I love that I am able to help people find their dream job, start a new career and become self sufficient. Most of us need a job, and when you love that job, life is good! JobingTV is fresh, informative and important -- it's really exciting to be part of something no one else is doing!"

JobingTV will air every Sunday evening at 6 p.m. on Channel 4 San Diego. Leading San Diego companies such as Viejas Casino & Turf Club, Qualcomm, San Diego Sheriff's Department, Ace Parking and Anadys Pharmaceuticals are just a few of the companies that will be profiled on JobingTV during February.

"Although employment television has hit the airwaves before, no show has provided the in-depth focus and assistance that JobingTV provides to San Diego residents," said Aaron Matos, CEO and founder of Jobing.com. JobingTV features in-depth segments on companies and jobs across all industries; offering individuals a first-hand view of what it's like to work for leading San Diego County employers. The show will also offer career tips and employment news and will showcase community resources that are available to help local job seekers advance their careers.

"As a human resources professional before starting Jobing.com, I understood the challenges and limitations that employment classifieds -- and even the Internet -- have struggled with in communicating why a company is a great place to work. You can only say so much in a classified ad," stated Matos. He continued, "JobingTV will revolutionize recruitment advertising and allow employers to finally communicate to job seekers their company culture, work environment, benefits and style. Our show segments are filmed onsite at the employer's location and our production crew works to show, in detail, what it's really like to work at the profiled company. We believe this is the next step in the evolution of real employment branding."

In addition to airing weekly on Channel 4 San Diego, JobingTV will also be shown in its entirety via video streaming to visitors who log onto Jobing.com in San Diego each month. The launch of JobingTV also allows Jobing.com to provide a new video job posting product to San Diego employers. "The JobingTV television show will be integrated tightly with the Jobing.com Web site," stated Brian Eastwood, VP of Product. He continued, "We're confident that this new product will further differentiate the local Jobing.com product from all of our competition."
