Quill Announces Winner of Its 50th Anniversary National Sweepstakes

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., May 15, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- In a national sweepstakes sponsored by office supply leader Quill Corporation to commemorate its 50th anniversary, Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa, took a step "back to the future" by winning first prize: a completely restored Ford(R) 1956 Thunderbird(R), valued at more than $68,000. The selection of the 1956 classic car was not a coincidence, since its manufacturing year coincides with the 50th anniversary of Quill.

The hospital, like thousands of other entrants, qualified for the "Quill Anniversary Celebration Sweepstakes" by entering the sweepstakes between December 9, 2005 and January 31, 2006. The hospital was picked at random from all entries. There were also five first place prizes consisting of the "Top 50 Movies of All Time" on DVD; and 50 second-prize winners who received a Mrs. Fields(R) Oversized Goodie Box.

The restored turquoise T-Bird was transported to Leon and presented to the hospital, along with a check for $20,000.
