Three Wheel Taxi Cab Project Prepares for Production Ramp

SOLANA BEACH, Calif., Aug. 3, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Armor Electric Inc. (OTCBB:ARME) is pleased to announce that the "Three Wheel Taxi Cab" final visual inspection, design buyoff and production ramp meeting with the Mexico City management group was successfully concluded last week at the Las Vegas R&D facility. Attendees included Armor executives, the management group from Mexico City, Strategic Partner executives and engineers. The Mexico City management group was very impressed with the style and performance of the unit, and fondly dubbed it the 'Rolls Royce' of the pedi-cab industry. All aspects of the vehicle were thoroughly inspected by the Mexico City management group to insure the vehicle met their pre-designated specifications.

Two (2) vehicles will be shipped this week to Mexico City for industry required 'stress testing' at a Government approved University. These tests will prove that the integrity of both the frame and body meet government specifications and regulations. This process should be completed by the third or fourth week of August.

While stress testing is in process, the purchase order and final contracts will be fully negotiated and drafted. These documents will encompass the structuring of assembly, delivery and payment for the first 400 EPS units (electric propulsion system units) and first container of frames and bodies from Armor's strategic partner "Hero Motors" of India.

While at the Las Vegas facility, the Mexico City management group evaluated Armor's electric powered four wheel vehicle NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle), for use in an adapted form, for a 'Phase Two' four wheeled electric powered Taxi Cab unit. The management group was favorably impressed with the demonstration and performance of this unit and has agreed to continue design discussions to develop a unit for their specific application.

Armor is currently receiving a great number of inquiries from several countries regarding sales availability of the Electric Three Wheeled Pedi-Cab unit. This unit and other Armor electric units are an exceptional example of the value of "Green Transportation" for major inner-cities worldwide.
