Executive Job Market Report Forecasting 'War For Talent' Bolsters Comments by Platinum IT President

NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- A report provided by the Career Management and Recruiting Resource Firm ExecuNet on the executive job market bolsters recent comments by Mr. Ralph Clark, President of Platinum IT Consulting Inc., a subsidiary of Global IT Holding Company (Pink Sheets:GITH).

Mr. Clark recently said, "A range of factors have combined recently to shift the balance in the IT recruiting sector so that we now have a situation that is beginning to look more like the years prior to Y2K." Platinum IT Consulting Inc. and its related company, Parker Clark, both source IT personnel for companies and offer custom software solutions including Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase and software such as SAP, JD Edwards, and PeopleSoft.

The ExecuNet report utilized simultaneous national surveys of search firms and corporate recruiters, as well as the participation of the corporate human resources community, and has forecasted expanding opportunities for executive search firms and corporate recruiters through to the end of 2006.

In their 14th annual Executive Job Market Intelligence report, below the heading "Growing Executive Demand Ignites War for Talent," they point to numerous signs of an improving market for both executive and placement firms, including:

-- Compensation expectations for job-changing executives returned to
the double-digit forecasts that were last seen in 2002. On average,
executives expect an 11 percent increase in total compensation if
they were to change jobs in 2006, compared to 5 percent in 2005,
and just 1 percent in 2004.

-- Search firm professionals are forecasting a 27 percent growth spurt
to their businesses, and they are staffing up in preparation. The
increase in search assignments in 2006 will build on the previous
year, outpacing the growth by more than 2-to-1.

Mark Anderson, ExecuNet President and Chief Economist, says in the report that "With the economy on solid ground, business spending is starting to climb, a trend that's already creating a growing number of new job opportunities in the business services and high-tech industries."
