UCLA Vivisection Protest Friday - Jan 19th

"20 Years Later UCLA Still Abusing Animals in the Name of Science"

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 18, 2007 -- Last Chance for Animals (LCA), Bob Linden from Go Vegan Radio and animal activists to protest vivisection on the UCLA campus Friday, January 19th. All concerned students and citizens are urged to stand up and take a stand against vivisection.

"We will not stand still for animal cruelty, especially animal cruelty under the auspices of medical research. It is not possible to validate what goes on in these labs. In 1998 LCA was responsible for exposing the horrors of the UCLA animal research laboratories on national TV. The footage was broadcast all over the country via CNN and other news outlets. Almost 20 years later nothing has changed, the same horrors still exist. The student population of UCLA should be ashamed at what goes on in their research labs. UCLA has been abusing animals in the name of science for far too long. We ask that the student population and concerned citizens take a stand against vivisection. Do it for the animals!" states Chris DeRose, President & Founder, LCA.

LCA has been fighting against the cruelty of vivisection for over two decades and vows to make 2007 a precedent setting year for animals in research.

Animal rights activists will continue to protest peacefully and lawfully until the immoral vivisection practices that run rampant across this country are stopped.
