Unexpected Humor in the Field of Law Enforcement -- Author Lt. Donald G. Hartenstine Shares Funny Experiences That Show That Law Enforcers are Human

READING, Pa., Jan. 18, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- When faced with the law or law enforcers, people usually feel anxious or scared, unsmiling and then something unexpectedly funny occurs. Author Lt. Donald G. Hartenstine shares the lighter side of law enforcement though a collection of funny stories based on actual events that happened in To Protect & Serve w/ Laughter.

To Protect & Serve w/ Laughter is a collection of entertaining anecdotes derived from the author's experiences as well as other law enforcers he interviewed. These stories depict events that took place in Court or funny events that occurred while arrests were made. Majority of these blunders happened while the officers were on duty and allows the men and women of law enforcement to smile and laugh at themselves. These stories portray another side of police work and offer a better understanding and appreciation of the human side of our dedicated police officers.

Law enforcement is serious business with many dangers and dilemmas that exist in the daily lives of police officers. To Protect & Serve w/ Laughter was written to promote as well as inspire humor. The author believes that being a law enforcer is hard work, and with all the seriousness, trials and tribulations of life, we must find it in ourselves to laugh at others and ourselves to lighten our burdens. This way, our lives including those enforcers of law, can become more tolerable, meaningful and enjoyable. Laughter is always the best medicine!
