Sage Software's Heather Burton and Cancer Community Center's Carrie Kinne to Co-Present Donor Retention Session at New England AHP's 2007 Educational Conference

AUSTIN, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 12, 2007 -- Sage Software announced today that Heather Burton, product marketing manager for its Nonprofit Solutions, and Carrie Kinne, director of development for the Cancer Community Center in South Portland, Maine, will co-present a break-out session on donor retention techniques at the New England Association for Healthcare Philanthropy's (NEAHP) 2007 Educational Conference, to be held this week at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine.

Titled, "Be Your Donors' Favorite Charity: Donor Retention Tips and Techniques," and scheduled for Tuesday, March 13 from 1:30-2:45 p.m. EDT, the session will discuss donor retention tips and techniques, including technology used to implement retention strategies.

"Fundraising professionals are always interested in new ways to keep donors loyal to their organization and contributing to their cause," said Burton. "Accountability and transparency, deeply personal donor communications, recurring giving programs, and donor engagement, without the 'ask,' all are ways nonprofits look to increase donor retention, but sometimes the execution falls short. Carrie and I look forward to helping AHP conference attendees understand how technology can help them effectively capture and utilize valuable donor information in unique ways to broaden and deepen the donor-nonprofit relationship."
