Moody's Investors Service Announces Upgrade of GenTek Inc.'s Credit Rating

PARSIPPANY, N.J., April 18, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- GenTek Inc. (Nasdaq:GETI) announced today that Moody's Investors Service has upgraded the company's corporate family rating to B1 from B2, the company's first lien term loan to Ba3 from B1, and the company's $60 million revolving credit facility to Ba3 from B1. These actions conclude the review commenced on February 15, 2007.
