ReadSoft establishes subsidiary in Asia

The Swedish software company ReadSoft starts up a subsidiary in Asia,
headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With this new addition, the
company now has 14 subsidiaries on four continents.

Previously, ReadSoft's partners and resellers have very successfully,
represented the company on the Asian market. With a growing number of
partners as well as large, international customers in the area,
ReadSoft has found it important to take a more active role - hence
the establishment of a subsidiary. This focus on the Asian market
will substantially increase the opportunities to close more and
bigger deals in the region and ReadSoft expects a fast growth on the
market."Local presence puts extra focus on our solutions in this market and
we can give our customers and partners better support. This is an
exciting and growing market which we expect to penetrate further in
the future," comments Jan Andersson, President and CEO at ReadSoft.
The new subsidiary will be lead by Mr. Kam Kai Tung, previously
Regional Sales Director of Unisys - South Asia. Mr Tung has close to
20 years of industry experience in the Asian market. He is now the
Managing Director of ReadSoft Asia and plans to hire at least two
sales and support staff members during the first year. The focus for
the team in Malaysia will be on increasing the partner network in the
region and find more channels into the huge Asian market.

After opening the office in Kuala Lumpur ReadSoft now has
subsidiaries in the following fourteen countries: Sweden, Norway,
Denmark, Germany, Mexico, Finland, France, Spain, The UK, The US,
Chile, Brazil, Asia and Australia.
