LEBANON, Va., July 17, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Return to Roots and Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) have announced a cooperative partnership to enhance Northrop Grumman's recruitment efforts for its Lebanon, Va., facility. Northrop Grumman will advertise all job openings for the Lebanon facility, including the facility manager position, on the Return to Roots web site, www.ReturnToRoots.org.
Virginia Governor Tim Kaine launched the Return to Roots initiative on Sept. 18, 2006. Since then, the non-profit initiative funded by a Tobacco Commission Special Projects grant, has received 500 registrants who want to return to southwest Va. from 26 states, Canada and the Middle East. The web site, www.ReturnToRoots.org, is a resource for businesses and those seeking employment in the area.

Mitchell, president and chief executive officer of Virginia Economic Bridge, Inc., the program management organization for Return to Roots.
