Doro appoints new CEO
The Board of Directors of Doro AB have today appointed Jérôme Arnaud as the new
CEO for the company. Jérôme Arnaud is currently MD of Doro's French subsidiary
which accounts for almost 50% of Doro's sales. He is also head of Doro's
fast-growing Care and Business Electronics Division.
The change of CEO is being notified in connection with Doro issuing its report
for the third quarter of 2007. Doro is reporting a profit for the third quarter
and substantially improved results in comparison with last year. The improvement
means that the Home Division is now profitable and that the development of the
Care and Business Electronics Division has intensified.
- During the last three years Doro has undergone major changes. The company is
now entering a new phase with a stabilised operation within the Home Division
and satisfactory growth within the Care and Business Electronics Division says,
Bo Kastensson, Chairman of Doro's Board of Directors in a comment to the new
appointment.
- Rune Torbjörnsen has led Doro through a number of difficult years, cultivated
the core business and put the focus on new areas of business. Doro now
perceives a more intensive growth phase where Jérôme Arnaud ´s operative
experience from the different business units makes him particularly suitable to
lead the company forward. In addition will his experience from the important
French market be important for Doro, concludes Bo Kastensson.
Jérôme Arnaud was born in 1963, is resident in France and has been employed at
Doro since 2000. He is a certified engineer and before he came to Doro he worked
on business development and marketing within Matra Nortel. He has also worked in
sales in relation to South- and Latin America and was stationed in Argentina for
two years.
