American Specialty Health Appoints Kevin Kujawa Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President


SAN DIEGO, Dec. 11, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- American Specialty Health (ASH), one of the nation's premier personal health improvement organizations, named Kevin Kujawa chief information officer and executive vice president. He will oversee all information technology services and serve on the company's newly created Senior Executive Team (SET) under ASH chairman and CEO George DeVries. Kujawa was previously senior vice president of information technology operations at ASH.

Kujawa has more than 18 years of information technology experience in the health care environment, beginning in computer programming and rising to his previous position as senior vice president of information technology.

Kujawa joined ASH in 1995. Since then, he has been responsible for the company's software programming, network administration, telecommunications, data analysis and reporting, and Web development.

Prior to joining ASH, Kujawa worked for Prudential Healthcare Systems and Aetna Health Plans.

Kujawa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer sciences from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas (UNLV), with an emphasis in information systems. While at UNLV, Kujawa received a Conrad Hilton Scholarship and earned distinction as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
