SPi Announces New Executive Appointments

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - April 3, 2008) - SPi, a leading global business process outsourcing provider, today announced two new executive appointments to support its growing Legal and Healthcare business units.

Peter Tierney joins SPi Legal as Vice President, Operations and Francis Patalinghug has been hired as Vice President, Healthcare Asian Operations for SPi Healthcare.

Peter Tierney has been in the legal industry for more than 15 years and brings with him extensive experience in litigation support, consulting, electronic discovery, and document conversion. Prior to joining SPi, he was the Vice President of Operations of Ibis Consulting, where he led a team of 40 consultants, managers and EDD specialists servicing over 130 projects. He also implemented new technologies and workflows to streamline client services and production department interactions. As Vice President of SPi's US Legal Operations, Peter will be charged with the continued improvement of our service deliveries and to augment the business with additional legal process outsourcing (LPO) offerings.

Francis Patalinghug brings with him 24 years of extensive experience in the field of manufacturing in the areas of process development, work simplification, volume-ramp management and productivity improvement, among others. Throughout his career, Francis held various senior positions in companies like NEC Technologies, Philippines; Loctite Philippines and Amkor Technology Philippines. His most recent position was with Claymount Assemblies Philippines, where he was their Manufacturing Director. In his new role, Francis will be responsible for SPi's Medical Transcription operations in both the Philippines and India.
