Solara Hires Volman to Augment West Coast Team


PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwire - May 22, 2008) - Solara, a CommonHealth business unit created to provide strategic marketing services to improve patient access to pharmaceutical brands competing in managed markets, today announced the hiring of Yana Volman as an account supervisor.

Ms. Volman will be based in Solara's Foster City, CA, offices and will manage accounts for Solara's West Coast-based biotechnology clients. In addition, she will be responsible for new biotechnology manufacturer business, as well as for the development of new strategies and initiatives for existing clients.

Most recently, Ms. Volman was employed as senior analyst and then as manager, customer relationship marketing (CRM) and client operations at Health Strategies Group, a market research and consulting firm focused on serving the strategic market and information needs of pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. Health Strategies Group is based in both New Jersey and California. While there, she specialized in market evaluation, development and implementation of CRM strategies, and client services.

With more than 7 years in the healthcare industry, Ms. Volman brings extensive knowledge and a diverse background to Solara. She has a wide variety of experience in the areas of biotechnology, research and managed markets. Ms. Volman graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA degree in molecular and cell biology/immunology and obtained her MBA degree in business in 2005 from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, CA.
