New DacEasy by Sage Simplifies Business Analysis for Small Business Owners

Version 16 of the Popular, Longstanding Accounting System Simplified and Updated With More Flexibility and Enhanced Business Management Tools


ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - May 28, 2008) - Sage Software announced today the availability of DacEasy by Sage version 16 with new features and enhancements to simplify processes including business analysis, reporting and inventory management, as well as improved product flexibility to encourage better business management.

New Features, Flexibility and Greater Efficiency

DacEasy version 16 offers a number of new and improved features that will help growing small businesses simplify and streamline accounting tasks, increase flexibility in managing inventory and financials, and provide them with a better understanding of their overall operations:

--  The new Business Center Dashboard enables small businesses to better
    manage cash flow, sales, and profitability through a centralized view that
    offers constant visualization of key business indicators. This feature is
    invaluable for helping businesses to quickly gauge overall company

--  In DacEasy version 16 the product code length has been increased for
    greater flexibility in inventory management. Based on customer feedback,
    this enhancement is one of the most requested, and it will enable users to
    create larger product and services codes for better inventory tracking.
    
--  With the new simplified Job and Project Tracking functionality,
    businesses can now create one or more jobs per client, as well as define
    revenue and expense estimates and report on the profitability for each

--  State and federal payroll tax reports for previously closed quarters
    are now available as stored images within the system that users can reprint
    as needed, reducing paper waste, and making these reports more readily

In addition to the features above, DacEasy version 16 also includes over 60 new fields for creating forms such as invoices and purchase orders. There is also now more flexible importing functionality with 50 new variables for integrating DacEasy data with other third-party applications.

(2) This feature is limited to quarterly payroll tax reports that were printed with DacEasy v16 and later. DacEasy v16 cannot print quarterly tax reports generated in previous versions of DacEasy. Changes to a closed quarter will not be reflected in the quarterly reports.
