Gentex Shipping for 2009 Toyota Crown Line-Up

ZEELAND, MI--(Marketwire - May 29, 2008) - Gentex Corporation (NASDAQ: GNTX), the leading supplier of automatic-dimming rearview mirrors to the worldwide automotive industry, announces that it is shipping interior auto-dimming interior rearview mirrors for the 2009 Toyota Crown. The Crown, a full-size luxury sedan, is sold exclusively in the Japanese market.

An interior auto-dimming mirror is available as standard equipment on the new Crown Hybrid model, the 3.0 L Crown Royal Saloon trim level, and 3.5 L Crown Athlete trim level. Gentex mirrors darken automatically in response to the headlamp glare of rearward-approaching vehicles.
