(Nasdaq:DUCK) will hold a conference call August 1, 2008, to introduce the Company's new President and Chief Executive Officer, Larry Zigerelli, to shareholders. The CEO and other Company leaders will provide an update on Duckwall-ALCO's current focus and address questions from shareholders.
Zigerelli joined Duckwall-ALCO Stores as president and chief executive officer on July 2. He has 27 years of domestic and international experience with leading retail and consumer product companies such as Procter & Gamble, CVS and Meijer, Inc.
Royce Winsten, chairman of the board, and Donny Johnson, executive vice president and chief financial officer (who served as interim CEO prior to Zigerelli's joining the Company), will join Zigerelli on the call.
