Electrolux appoints Jonas Samuelson new Chief Financial Officer

Jonas Samuelson has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer for the
Electrolux Group. He will be part of Group Management and report to President
and CEO Hans Stråberg.

Jonas Samuelson, 40, is currently Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice
President for Munters AB, a global leader in energy efficient air treatment
solutions and restoration services. 

Before joining Munters, Samuelson was Executive Director Finance for General
Motors North American Sales & Marketing operations, an organization with USD
120bn in net sales. He was also Director Business Planning and Analysis at
General Motors Corporation Controller Staff, where he was globally responsible
for financial analysis and planning. 

Samuelson will assume his new position before the end of 2008. He is Swedish and
will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. His predecessor, Fredrik Rystedt, was
appointed Chief Financial Officer for Nordea, a Nordic financial services group.
