Microsoft Recognizes NewMarket Technology's RKM IT Solutions as Associate of the Year in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions at FOCUS 2009

(OTCBB: NMKTE) today announced its subsidiary RKM IT Solutions was recently recognized as Associate of the Year in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions by Microsoft at FOCUS 2009. Microsoft FOCUS 2009 was held September 10-12 in Cartagena, Colombia and included Microsoft partners from Colombia and Venezuela. Being recognized as an Associate of the Year will assist RKM as the Company continues to grow and compete for larger projects, especially those utilizing Microsoft.

NewMarket Regional Microsoft Services and Partnership

RKM is the fourth largest Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) in Venezuela, having recently achieved an overall Microsoft sales increase of 235.78% over the previous fiscal year. RKM is also an Enterprise Software Advisor (ESA) in South America. Mid-Market and corporate customers in Latin America seek out the services of LAR/ESAs when implementing large Microsoft-based IT projects.
