Workscape "Gives Back" Road Trip Kicks Off; Ten Cities, 1500 Miles in Two Weeks!

Leader in Talent Management and Outsourced Benefits Administration Solutions Embarks on Tour to Address Hunger, Making Donations to Local Food Pantries

MARLBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - October 1, 2008) - With the onsite support of customers, sports celebrities, non-profit organizations, and state and local politicians, Workscape, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced benefits and talent management solutions, kicked off its Workscape Gives Back road trip from its headquarters facility in Marlborough, Mass. Covering ten cities in two weeks, Workscape employees are driving an environmentally responsible Saturn VUE Hybrid to cities where the company has customers to make monetary and food donations to local food pantries.

Company President and CEO, Tim Clifford, stated, "Hunger is an insidious issue in our society, especially in turbulent economic times. It affects families with young children, the homeless and senior citizens struggling to make ends meet. Our Gives Back campaign places support where it's needed most -- local food pantries that are the first-line in addressing this painful situation."

Ed Hurley-Wales, senior vice president of Human Resources, Workscape, said, "Our employees want to do more for the community and the world in which we live. Workscape has a long history of corporate social responsibility and our Gives Back tour is an excellent example of how committed we are to making a difference."

On September 30, 2008, Workscape kicked off the road trip from its Marlborough, Mass. headquarters. Company employees were joined by honored guests including State Senator Pamela Resor; Mary Pat Gibbons, district representative from U.S. Congressman Jim McGovern's staff; Karen Kisty, executive aide to Marlborough Mayor Nancy Stevens; Chris Chirco representing the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism; and Celtics basketball legend and the founder, president and CEO of WARM2KIDS, M.L. Carr.

At the kick off event, Workscape donated $1,000 each and non-perishable food items to the Hudson Community Food Pantry and Marlborough Community Services' food pantry. Accepting the donations were Hugo Guidotti, vice president of the Hudson Community Food Pantry, and Amy Katsis of Marlborough Community Services. Workscape also donated $1,000 each to WARM2KIDS and the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.

Hugo Guidotti, vice president of the Hudson Community Food Pantry, shared, "There is a greater need for food pantries now because of the gas costs and the number of foreclosures we have seen," Guidotti said. "People are paying for gas with the money they were using for food. I expect it will get worse during the winter."

The next stops on the road trip are Wilton, Conn. on October 2, New York City on October 3, Philadelphia on October 6, Berkeley Heights, N.J. on October 7, Pittsburgh, Pa. on October 8, Columbus, Ohio on October 9, Cincinnati, Ohio on October 10, and Detroit, Mich. on October 13. The tour ends in Chicago on October 14, 2008 to coincide with Workscape's presence at the 11th Annual HR Technology Conference and Exhibition, being held from October 15 to 17 at McCormick Place.

Workscape Chief Marketing Officer, Tony Marzulli, commented, "Social responsibility is part of Workscape's DNA and our road trip is another example of the passion Workscape employees have for being the best in everything they do."
