Emportal Appoints Senior Executive to Head Development

Continued Expansion of Executive Team to Augment Company's Customer Momentum


WALNUT CREEK, CA--(Marketwire - October 7, 2008) - Uniting the way business works with the way people work, Emportal today announced that Chris Bavelock, a software engineering management professional with 25 years' experience, has joined the company as vice president of Development. Bavelock will lead the company's product development efforts.

Bavelock joins Emportal from Bridgestream Inc, where he was director of engineering. His previous professional experience includes being the founder and vice president of engineering at OpCo, a healthcare software solutions company. Earlier in his career, he was senior director of engineering at Commerce One and worked at Bank of America and Advanced Micro Devices. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
