ESI Among World-Renowned Team Commissioned to Design Shanghai Corporate Pavilion (The Dream Cube) at the 2010 World Expo

70 Million People Expected to Visit World Expo, May 1-October 31

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 6, 2009) - ESI Design announced it is collaborating with a team of world-renowned architects, designers, writers, artists, environmental and technology professionals selected to design the Shanghai Corporate Pavilion at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, which will be open from May 1 to October 31, 2010.

"ESI is honored to work with this team of inspiring and talented people to design a transformational experience that invites citizens to co-create a better, brighter future for Shanghai," said Edwin Schlossberg, founder and principal designer of ESI Design.

"The Shanghai Corporate Pavilion is backed by some of the best design, creative and technological professionals in various fields from both China and abroad. It will showcase the world's most sophisticated energy-conservation and environmental protection technology with innovative participatory design components contributed by ESI Design," said Dr. Shi Derong, Chairman of Shanghai Guo Shen Group, the company in charge of setting up the Pavilion.

The Shanghai Corporate Pavilion will feature intelligent green building technologies, a dream-like immersive atmosphere and vibrant interactive experiences. The design responds to the theme of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai -- Better City, Better Life -- by presenting public spaces built on sustainable development, collective creativity and harmonious urban living. Dubbed the "Dream Cube," the Shanghai Corporate Pavilion embodies how, by working together, ordinary citizens can realize their dreams and transform the city into a better place for all.

China's first private architecture firm, Atelier FCJZ, set up the Graduate
Center of Architecture at Peking University (1999) and is currently the
