James Tinsley Named Partner at The Avascent Group

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - January 8, 2009) - Defense and government markets strategy and management consulting firm The Avascent Group has named James Tinsley as its newest Partner. Since joining the firm nearly four years ago, Jim Tinsley has specialized in defense business development for commercially focused firms. In this role, he helped clients develop growth strategies, pursue acquisitions, and design new business development organizations. Over the past several years, Jim has worked extensively on land systems opportunities, including those related to tactical wheeled vehicles and armored vehicles. He has also worked with a diverse range of industrial equipment suppliers to identify growing opportunities in the defense sector.

While with the firm, Jim has leveraged his deep understanding of key defense sectors and players to provide clients with timely, actionable insights on critical business decisions.
