Nurminen Logistics Plc and Transgarant conclude a co-operation agreement        


Nurminen Logistics Plc and Russian rail transportation company Transgarant      
signed a 7-year co-operation agreement on 12 January 2009. According to the     
agreement Nurminen Logistics acts as a representative of Transgarant in Finland.
The agreement also stipulates joint use of wagons. The contracting parties see  
particular possibilities in the transportation of e.g. consumer goods through   
Nurminen Logistics Plc's new logistics centre in the Vuosaari harbour.          

Transgarant is the second largest private owned rail transportation company in  
Russia. The company operates more than 17,000 railway wagons, of which 75 % are 
its own. Transgarant is a part of a FESCO Transportation Group.                 

Nurminen Logistics provides high-quality logistics services, such as railway    
transports, terminal services, forwarding, and special and heavy transports.    
Nurminen Logistics' main market areas are Finland, the Baltic Sea region, Russia
and other CIS countries. The company has at its disposal nearly 1,000 of its own
railway wagons and it also operates hundreds of its partners' wagons.           
Nurminen Logistics' terminal network covers all major harbours and border       
crossings in southern and eastern Finland. Terminal capacity exceeds 130,000    
square meters. The new logistics centre in Vuosaari comprises 38,000 square     
metres.
