Essay Winner Edward Mage Gets Obama Tattoo With Freedom2 Infinitink

CHERRY HILL, NJ--(Marketwire - January 20, 2009) - Today, Edward Mage received a free Infinitink (www.infinitink.com) tattoo of President Barack Obama. The tattoo was a prize for winning an essay contest sponsored by Freedom2, Inc., the developers of Infinitink, the first permanent but more easily removable tattoo. Artist Randi Polillo of Eternal Ink (www.eternalinktattoo.com) designed the tattoo. Here is Edward's winning essay on why he wanted a Barack Obama tattoo.

"I am an African-American, born of share croppers and small country churches. I watched my parents and grandparents struggle against a society that at first hated them, and later disenfranchised them. All along the way I was taught to be self-reliant and to see beyond the race, religion or background of others. It was important to them that I understood that I make my place in the world, and to do so I must be educated, open-minded and ready to work harder than others. As I have aged, I have developed a deep sense of patriotism, and belief that we are always moving beyond this country's darker history. I can think of no better image to represent these feelings than a likeness of Barack Obama, the first person I've come to consider a role model."
