PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - February 5, 2009) - AEE Solar, a leading distributor of solar energy
products, announced today that it will be holding its 2nd Annual Solar
Dealer Conference in Mesa, Arizona on Feb. 18-22, 2009 at the Hilton
Phoenix East Hotel. The conference will educate new and existing dealers
from around the world on the latest solar photovoltaic (PV) products,
technologies, installation techniques, code compliance, and financial
analysis tools.
"If you think you have what it takes to launch a new solar business in this
rapidly growing yet highly competitive renewable energy marketplace, AEE
Solar is well positioned to provide the products, training, business
skills, and financial planning tools needed to compete in today's growing
solar economy," said Jeff Spies, AEE Solar Training Manager. "Our
conference will help new dealers plan a solar business, receive technical
training and utilize marketing programs necessary to succeed in the
competitive solar marketplace. An expanded federal tax credit and numerous
renewable energy incentive programs have created long waiting lines for
residential and commercial solar installations."
The conference meets the growing demand of individuals and companies that
are moving from the construction, roofing, electrical, and HVAC industries
to the renewable energy industry and need a source of professional solar
training programs to prepare them for what it takes to build a clean, green
power infrastructure throughout the United States and beyond.
The solar training workshops are taught in a classroom environment during
the 4-day conference. Contractors that complete the advised training and
certification process will be ready to become solar dealers, installers,
and/or resellers. They can then sell a wide range of renewable energy
products from AEE Solar's large inventory. AEE's expansive 200-page
catalog (considered the biggest and best in the industry) showcases the
largest selection of modules, racking, inverters, and off-grid products
available. Even better, this catalog is available to authorized dealers
for private labeling -- further enhancing dealer credibility in the eyes of
the end customer.
The requirements to attend the event include possessing a valid Electrical,
HVAC, Roofing, or General Contractor's license, filling out the AEE Solar
Dealer Application form, and paying the $295 registration fee. The $295
fee covers expo pass, all classroom trainings, and meals for the entire
event. More details are available at:
