Turner Broadcasting System Partners With Attributor to Track Video Content Across the Web

Attributor to Protect Content Investment and Help Turner Program the Web

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - April 7, 2009) - Attributor Corporation, provider of the world's premier Web-wide content monitoring and monetization platform, today announced that Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. has selected its video tracking platform to identify Turner-owned video on top video-sharing sites on the Web.

Attributor's platform will continuously monitor the Web for Turner video content, leveraging its 35 billion-page index and using advanced audio and visual fingerprinting algorithms to discover instances of Turner-owned video posted on video-sharing sites.

"The wider online audience consumes content in a huge variety of places and contexts, and it is important to us to have comprehensive and comprehensible information about this. Attributor's platform combines video recognition technology with a Web crawling application we can tailor for extent and frequency to suit our content and its pattern of (re)distribution," said Scott Teissler, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Digital Technology Strategist at Turner Broadcasting. "These capabilities will help protect our content investment and show the way to new business opportunities."

"Turner produces some of the most popular video content on television and the Web. With our technology, they can now know exactly how and where their videos appear," said Jim Pitkow, Attributor CEO and co-founder. "Our partnership with Turner is further validation of our business model and execution against our cross-media vision, and we're proud to announce a broadcast company of this magnitude using our platform to program the Web."
