Law Enforcement Associates Awarded Two Orders Collectively Valued at $200,000

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - June 17, 2009) - Law Enforcement Associates Corporation (LEA)
(OTCBB : LAWE ), the largest U.S.-based developer and manufacturer of
electronic surveillance equipment, today announced the receipt of two
notable contracts with a combined value of $200,000. The larger of the
orders was placed by the U.S. Army for crime control and investigative
equipment. The second order was for LEA's Birddog GPS tracking devices and
was placed by a state police agency in the western U.S. Both orders are
scheduled to ship in this year's third quarter.

improved order volume we are seeing across a number of our target markets.
We anticipate reporting record revenue during our second fiscal quarter,
