Moen Introduces First Green Kitchen Faucets

NORTH OLMSTED, OH--(Marketwire - July 16, 2009) - The green movement is flowing into the kitchen as Moen® continues to revolutionize the industry with the introduction of the first green kitchen faucets.

The Anabelle™ and Dorsey™ Eco-Performance kitchen faucets allow users to easily switch between three unique water-flow settings. For everyday tasks that require a constant, yet low-water flow, such as washing dishes or preparing foods, homeowners can choose new eco-performance standard or aerated spray modes. These settings provide a reduced flow rate of 1.75 gallons per minute (gpm), which translates to a 32 percent water savings. However, for tasks that require a set amount of water, such as filling a pot or pitcher -- they can press a button, which brings the flow back to the standard 2.2 gpm rate.
