Dear Sirs
On 15 September 2009 Sydbank launched a capital increase, see Stock Ex-change
Announcement No 10 dated 21 September 2009, under which 6,749,999 new shares
with a nominal value of DKK 10 each were issued.
Consequently, in compliance with Section 6 of the Danish executive order No
1273 of 16 December 2008 on issuers' disclosure requirements, Sydbank
an-nounces that at end-September 2009 total share capital represents nominally
DKK 742,499,990, corresponding to 74,249,999 shares of DKK 10 nominal, equal to
74,249,999 votes.
In accordance with Article 10 (1), each share of DKK 10 nominal shall carry one
vote, however no shareholder shall be entitled to cast more than 5,000 votes on
his own behalf. No one acting as a proxy shall be entitled to cast more than
5,000 votes.
