Centriforce Technology's Desalination Efficiency Validated

MIAMI, Oct. 28, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Centriforce Technology Corp. (Pink Sheets:CNFO) announced today that it completed a performance test witnessed by the Industrial Services Division of SGS North America, Inc., a member of the SGS Group. SGS is recognized as the global benchmark for testing and certification of new technologies.

The performance test showed that Centriforce's desalination technology recovered 87.5% by volume of almost pure water from normal seawater (35 parts per thousand salt). In other words, for every 100 liters of seawater processed, Centriforce's system produced 87.5 liters of potable desalinated water. The recovered potable water had a specific gravity of 0.998 and conductivity of 456 microS/cm, indicating that it may be used for human consumption and other markets that require potable water.

"CNFO engaged SGS to have a universally recognized, independent authority witness a formal evaluation test on our technology to provide a certified report which would confirm the efficiency of our new technology. This establishes the system's ability to desalinate seawater at extremely high efficiency. SGS is highly respected for their veracity and accuracy" stated Matthew Schulman, President. "Centriforce's technology provides an exciting new solution to deliver fresh water at very high efficiency where shortages exist worldwide," he noted.

The SGS website (www.sgs.com) states that "SGS is the world's leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. Recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity, we employ over 56,000 people and operate a network of more than 1,000 offices and laboratories around the world." "SGS North America Inc.
