Referring to the information published on the newspaper “Dienas Bizness” home page www.db.lv on December 15, JSC “Liepājas Metalurgs” (LM) informs that on Tuesday, December 15 the European Commission (EC) confirmed the Latvian state guarantee for LM compliance with EC rules. In the year 2009 LM is planning to choose the financing bank and sign the necessary loan documentation to implement the company`s modernization.
