kCura Expanded Its Installed User Base by 175% in 2009

kCura Now Has Over 14,000 Law Firm and Corporate Users Managing E-Discovery Reviews on Its Web-Based Software, Relativity

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - January 13, 2010) - kCura announced growth results today for 2009, which included the company expanding its installed user base by 175 percent over the past 12 months. The e-discovery software provider now has over 14,000 law firm and corporate users managing e-discovery projects on its review platform, Relativity. In addition, 88 of the nation's top 100 law firms are now using kCura's Relativity, and the platform is offered globally by more than 60 industry partners on 4 continents.

"kCura owes a huge debt of gratitude to our partners, clients and end users who spend time in Relativity every day," said Andrew Sieja, president and chief executive officer of kCura. "As the market faces continued challenges driven by more litigation, increased regulatory actions, expanding data volumes and globalization, we are committed to building a better product and organization for everyone that uses Relativity and works with kCura."

kCura's growth in 2009 can be attributed to the following:

-- Continued Focus on End Users -- Relativity is intuitive and easy to use
for attorneys and end users, thus making them more productive. Clients
have reported the need for as little as 10 to 15 minutes of training before
reviewers can be efficient in the software.

-- Flexible and Scalable Technology -- Relativity is the most flexible and
scalable review solution on the market, giving lit support and IT
professionals the tools needed for massive and complex e-discovery
projects. This technology is paired with an aggressive monthly release
schedule providing regular enhancements. New features added to Relativity
in 2009 include improved text analytics with clustering, categorization,
and concept search. kCura has also added tools to manage the structured
data related to a case and the ability to build custom applications to
solve review challenges with Relativity Dynamic Objects.

-- Customer Service -- kCura strives to build great relationships with
customers and partners through a focus on customer service and support. In
2009, the company expanded its online customer portal with tutorials,
    search guides, and self-help tools.

In addition to kCura's investment in technology and customer service, the company's focus on its partnership channel is also a key ingredient to its success in 2009. The option to leverage Relativity either on-premises or through a hosted, software-as-a-service model provides flexible and scalable review capabilities that support both law firms and corporate legal needs throughout the e-discovery review process.
