So Act Network Announces Law Enforcement Professional for Celebrity and Expert Endorsement Program

Dennis Williams Joins Social Network as 'Internet Cop on the Beat' to Prevent Predators, Plotters, Fraudsters and Market Manipulators

HOUSTON, Jan. 14, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- So Act Network, Inc. (OTCBB:SOAN) announced today that it has signed highly decorated retired detective and law enforcement expert Dennis Williams to participate with many other public personalities in the Company's Celebrity and Expert Endorsement Program. In particular, Mr. Williams will monitor So Act, and related web activities, to prevent predators, plotters, fraudsters and market manipulators.

"Dennis Williams is a valuable asset to any network where large audiences congregate. Just the other day four teens in New Jersey were caught on Facebook discussing plans to bomb their school," said Greg Halpern, So Act President. "They were caught just because of one caring individual, but had that student not reported the incident, the results could have been disastrous. Many of the major social networks today cannot offer a totally safe environment for its members to co-exist. In fact, predatory and dysfunctional behavior of all types is quite common on these sites. Rather than rely on chance to keep out bad elements, we have engaged Mr. Williams as a preventative measure to oversee the policing, filtering and reporting of activities on our network and wherever web related actions violate the good will of our membership and their goals of building a better world."

"I am very pleased and excited to be a part of So Act and its novel new approach to social networking. I plan on working with So Act and its members to establish a professional and prosperous network," said Dennis Williams. "As So Act's 'Internet Cop on the Beat', I will be monitoring the groups and their goals, as well as the Internet at large, to be sure So Act members can reach their goals without unwanted distractions. My previous law enforcement career and experiences will assist me in preventing unnecessary interference with the important activities and goals of So Act's many thought-leaders and change-agents."

About Dennis Williams

Dennis Williams, a native Floridian, joined the Miami Police Department at the age of 20. He is a highly decorated veteran who served 25 years with integrity and honor. In his career, he spent 13 years as an investigator in such units as Homicide, Robbery, Auto Theft and in a Multi-Agency Money Laundering Task Force in an undercover capacity. In his tenure, he received over 150 commendations and numerous letters from the community. Retired Sgt. Williams also received the Medal of Honor for an armed confrontation in which he was shot at and subsequently apprehended the offender. Williams was also a member of the elite K-9 unit and worked with his award winning partner "Nitro". Sgt. Williams and Nitro, in a four year period, were solely responsible for 25% of all of the felony arrests within the 18 man unit. As a team, they were requested by surrounding police agencies to conduct narcotic searches due to Nitro's outstanding reputation. They were also the subject and focus of a documentary which was released nationally by Blockbuster video detailing the extreme daily activities of a police K-9 team. As a Sergeant, Williams was known for whispering on the police radio while hiding in the bushes watching narcotic activity and sales with his "never stop until we get the bad guy" attitude and was usually known to be the first on the scene and the last to leave. Dennis was not only respected by his peers but also known by the staff members of the M.P.D. as a hard working honest cop. In a recommendation letter, Miami Police Deputy Chief Roy Brown stated "I have the upmost respect, confidence and admiration for his work ethic as well as his attitude and personality." Deputy Chief Brown also stated, "I have known him for more than 20 years to be a hard working officer that is well respected in the law enforcement community as well as the community at large." With his unwavering attitude and direction Dennis Williams completed his 25 years of dedicated service with a full retirement in July of 2007 at 45 years of age. Williams is now overseeing the integrity and professionalism of So Act and its members to discourage manipulators and predators and those out to prey on others through deception for their own benefit. This is just a continuation of his law enforcement career in the private sector in which he will serve with the same honor and integrity.
