outstanding scores", comments Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor. "The
results of our Climate Analysis proof once again the success and efficiency of
our people management and development", continues Ritter.

Standards" with a score of 87.3% (86.2% in 2008). "Our teams clearly stood
closer together during the crisis and deliberately followed our vision and
mission Yes I Can!", explains Ritter.

New jobs - Even in tough times
Rezidor defines itself as a true people business - the group focuses on a
comprehensive and ambitious people development programme. It includes high level
trainings like on-job-skills, a company own Business School, Centres of
Excellence and a dedicated group-wide Responsible Business Programme. "Rezidor
continuously invests in people. We develop talent from within - the majority of
our General Managers is home grown - and from outside", says Ritter. In the
emerging markets Russia/CIS and Africa alone Rezidor will create 2000 new jobs
in 2010; most of them for local employees.

Climate Analysis - A look behind the scenes
The Climate Analysis is conducted by Rezidor since 1991 and sees a continuous
increase of the Employee Satisfaction Score. The annual survey, using a highly
developed and detailed questionnaire, measures the company's working climate on
a set of standards, including communication, development opportunities, feedback
and appraisal, leadership and company image and culture. The results do not only
mirror the current climate, but also are the basis for activity plans in order
to further develop and improve internal processes.
