BRMALLS Increases Its Ownership Interest in Shopping Campo Grande

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - February 9, 2010) - BR MALLS PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A., a
publicly held company headquartered at Avenida Borges de Medeiros n° 633,
1st floor in the city and state of Rio de Janeiro ("BRMALLS"), hereby
announces the acquisition, through one of its subsidiaries, of 82.1% of
'Campo Grande/MS' store and an additional interest of 4.45% of the parking
operations of Shopping Campo Grande, both previously owned by São Carlos
Empreendimentos e Participações S.A.
Campo Grande/MS store has a total Gross Leasable Area ("GLA") of 4,966 m(2)
and is currently leased to both Lojas Americanas S.A. and Lojas Renner
S.A.
With the above mentioned acquisition, BRMALLS increased its total GLA by
4,966 m(2) and owned GLA by 4,077 m(2), which represent a total ownership
of 67.6% of Shopping Campo Grande.
After the acquisition, BRMALLS increased the total GLA of its portfolio of
35 malls to 1,032.7 thousand m(2) and owned GLA to 465.0 thousand m(2).
