Nalco Executives to Address Upcoming Investor Conferences in March, Investor and Analyst Day to be Held May 18


NAPERVILLE, Ill., March 1, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nalco (NYSE:NLC), providing essential expertise for water, energy and air, announced today that executives will appear at investor conferences in New York, California and Utah during March. The company will also host an Investor and Analyst Day on May 18 at its headquarters in Naperville, Ill.

  • Brad Bell, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will be part of a panel discussing the topic "Catching the Wave in Water Quality, Safety, and Efficiency" at the 2010 FBR Capital Markets Water Investment Conference at 1:15 p.m. ET on March 2 in New York.
     
  • Dr. Mani Ramesh, Chief Technology Officer, will participate in the Canaccord Adams Sustainability Forum in Park City, Utah on March 4.
     
  • Dave Flitman, Senior Executive Vice President and President, Water and Process Services, will speak at the Roth OC Growth Stock Conference at 11:00 a.m. ET on March 16 in Dana Point, Calif.
     
  • Erik Fyrwald, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will address the Jefferies Global Clean Tech Conference at 2:15 p.m. ET on March 17 in New York.
     
  • Mr. Flitman will also be part of a panel at the Janney Water Industry Summit at 11:30 a.m. ET on March 23 in New York.

The Jefferies presentation by Mr. Fyrwald and the Roth presentation by Mr. Flitman will be available via Webcast on the Investor Relations portion of the Company's Web site at www.nalco.com/investors.
